Are you thinking about potentially buying a home for the first time this year?

As part of our celebration of National Consumer Protection Week 2011, BBB invites you to a special event where professionals from University Federal Credit Union will share helpful tips to prepare and protect first-time home buyers. More specifically, the speakers will discuss how to qualify for a loan, what to expect from a realtor, the benefits and pitfalls of purchasing a foreclosure, and unpack the meaning behind all the mortgage terminology and costs.

If you plan to buy a home for the first time this year and want to be sure you’re a well-informed and protected consumer, don’t miss this event!

Date: Tuesday, March 8, 2011
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: JJ Pickle Center - Commons Center, 10100 Burnet Road, Austin, TX 78758

*Seating is limited, so please RSVP by directly emailing Lydia Hekman at lhekman@austin.bbb.org.

Plus, BBB will be raffling off door prizes to attendees who like us on Facebook and sign up for a raffle at the event.  Get a head start by liking our Facebook site here.

We hope to see you on March 8th!
