BBB Issues F Rating to Local Air Duct Cleaning Company
Consumers Say Austin City Air Ducts Doesn’t Perform as Promised
Austin, TX – May 18, 2010 – BBB serving Central, Coastal and Southwest Texas has issued an F Rating to a local air conditioning and heating system cleaning company which advertises specials locally. Consumers tell BBB that after contacting Austin City Air Ducts about coupon offers, technicians either insisted they needed an expensive service, or performed said services without authorization. Some consumers allege the technicians used high pressure sales tactics in order to secure authorization for additional services and the company has not responded to requests for refunds on the unwanted work.
Several consumers allege damage to their property was not adequately addressed by the company. Despite written requests from BBB, Austin City Air Ducts has failed to address consumer disputes.
